Avondale United Launches “Last Person Standing 2026” Fundraiser
Avondale United F.C. has announced the return of its popular “Last Person Standing” competition for 2026, offering a €500 prize to the overall winner while supporting a meaningful cause.
The competition kicks off on 14 March, with entry priced at €10 per person. Organisers confirmed that all money generated from the event will go directly to the Straight Road Facilities Project
“Last Person Standing” is simple to play but always competitive. Each week, you pick a team. If your team wins, you’re through to the next round. If they don’t, you’re out. It continues week by week until only one member remains and takes home the €500 prize.
