The CWSSL is proposing the clubs provide a nominated club official who in the event of no referees being available could cover such home games.
There would be a payment made for any games they cover and a training / mentoring programme would also be included.
The overall plan would be to provide existing players at U17/19/Adult the opportunity to give something back to their own clubs whilst training to become a qualified referee by the end of the year.
Further details will be made available at a later date but at this stage we are trying to gauge is there interest for such a role.
