The Dale Weekly Round Up

First up hope all the Avondale mothers had a nice Mothers Day and we also  remember those who are no longer with us also today ❤️

Our Senior team advanced in the Beamish Cup defeating Kinsale 3-1 on Saturday Simon Falvey (2)and David Hogan on target while our Junior A team won 4-3 away to Pearse Celtic in Junior Cup while our 18s drew 1-1 away to Wilton in the league Ross Cunningham on target for us. 

Our schoolgirls under 15s drew 1-1 with Douglas Hall Lola Curham our scorer.  Our Schoolboys 16s Premier team lost 2-1at home to Lakewood but a dramatic 4-3 win for our 14s away to Fermoy Ethan Bruton (2) Michael Quill (2) and a great performance by keeper Sean Semchiy 👏

The opening event of Avondales 50th Anniversary hosted by Cllr Mary Rose Desmond took place on Friday night at Cork City Hall and a list of clubs events will be announced shortly .
Our Ukrainian welcome for Boys and Girls to join in our Academy went out during the week and we look forward to helping  them settle into our community.
